Brad Jensen, Chief Pilot
Brad Jensen first worked for Helinet Aviation in 1990 as a line pilot. He then joined Alan Purwin at West Coast Helicopters two years later. In 1997, Brad left West Coast Helicopters to fly single pilot IFR operations for an emergency medical services (EMS) operator in northern California. In 2004, he returned to Helinet Aviation, which was now owned by Alan Purwin, as an EMS pilot dedicated to flying for Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Brad became Chief Pilot in October, 2007. In this role, he is responsible for training pilots in electronic news gathering (ENG), charter and EMS at Helinet Aviation's main facility in Van Nuys, California, and in Dallas, Texas.
Brad has been flying for over 21 years. As a pilot, he's accumulated over 11,000 flight hours in several types of helicopters and has flown in many capacities, including EMS, charter, ENG and production.
