Helinet is an approved Part 133 and Part 137 operator that offers a wide range of utility services including aerial firefighting, powerline construction and maintenance, LiDAR, aerial seeding and frost control.

Aerial Firefighting
Helinet provides call-when-needed and exclusive use aerial firefighting services through partnerships with the U.S. Forest Service, California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection CAL Fire, and Oregon Department of Forestry. Helinet’s resources allow for critical fire suppression and forest service support throughout the United States and abroad. Additional services include cargo transport, HELCO/aerial supervision and external load transportation.
Utility and Construction
Our UH-60 aircraft provide efficient transportation of oversized items in tough to reach areas via a longline solution. A flexible means of conveyance for various building materials and towers, helicopter transport offers less time-consuming delivery to remote locations and places that would not be accessible by traditional cranes.
LiDAR and Aerial Mapping
Helinet offers turnkey LiDAR solutions, incorporating aerial and terrestrial scanning and post-processing that delivers high accuracy and detail-rich data sets. Our in-house LiDAR systems are available for rapid deployment on fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft.
Powerline and Pipeline Construction and Inspection
Helicopters provide timely access to assist with aerial pipeline and powerline inspection due to not being restricted by roads, impassable terrain or property lines like typical fixed-wing or drone alternatives. With assistance from Helinet, clients are able to benefit from a more in-depth view of hard to reach landscapes and are able to be alerted regarding potential issues that may not be revealed otherwise, including recognition of potential right-of-way (ROW) encroachments or identifying equipment that may need repair.
Aerial Frost Control
Although there are several alternatives to fighting frost damage, helicopters are the most effective tool in frost protection management, capable of applying warmer air to a larger concentration of crops at one time. Damage to crops due to freezing and frost damage contributes to more agriculture economic losses than any other weather-related hazard but with the assistance of Helinet Aviation’s Utility team, agricultural clients can be sure that their crops are protected from frost damage.
